I am in the market of buying a cheap quality MP3 player. I have my eye on the following:
Creative Zen V 4 GB
Sandisk Sansa e260 4 GB
I want to know where would be a reliable place to buy these. I don’t want a lot of “tagalong, under the wire” costs. I am also wary about buying something online but I don’t have a car and that seems to be my only option. Where would you suggest I buy a mp3 player? Online on in-person? What stores or sites?
Please don’t give me general answers. I need specifics! Any other suggestions for different brands or any accessories are welcomed. Thank you!

4gb iPod Nano (second gen)- $183
4gb Creative Zen V Plus- $125
8gb Sandisk Sansa- $175
I like the iPod because of the style, accessories, “cool factor”, and it plays AAC.
I like the Zen V Plus because it has a good price and it is small and different.
I like the Sansa because it offers a boatload of storage for a good price. (But I really hate the blue scroll wheel).
Which should I get? Or can you help me choose another?

I have recently bought a 60gb vision m mp3 player and have been looking fo accessories for it. I found one which includes a silicon cover, mains charger, car charger, AV cable and a wired remote but it says its for the 30gb. I cant find a similar pack for the 60gb. Should theses accessories still work with the 60gb?
Thanks

Hindsight is 20/20. I bought the Creative Zen (30 gb with ALL accessories) on an impulse for 350 and I want to sell it ASAP for 200. Any ideas of other sites I can use?

I purchased a Kyocera cell phone for my son’s birthday. The phone can also be used as an MP3 player. Virgin mobile did NOT send the memory stick nor the USB cable with the purchase so I had to buy these separately. I purchased a Merkury HiSpeed USB 2.0, and a 1 GB Transcend memory stick with the card reader adapter. The memory stick fits inside the card reader which is then supposed to be inserted into the USB. When I hook all this up to my computer (I use Windows Vista so I don’t have to download a driver), the computer recognizes the USB as the F drive, but keeps telling me to insert a disk into drive F. Presumably, it can’t see the memory stick in the memory card reader/adapter OR the memory card reader/adapter is not inserted correctly. It doesn’t FEEL like it’s inserted correctly because it doesn’t “click” into place. Anyone out there have any suggestions? Not including the cell phone, these little purchases set me back another $81 today.
